Biography
Danny Cavanagh (born October 6, 1972) is a British guitarist and songwriter, one of the founding members of Anathema - a band that began in a death doom metal style, before changing to a more atmospheric rock-based sound. Danny also worked with Lid, Antimatter and Leafblade. In 2005, he released a Nick Drake tribute album, called “A Place to Be”. He played several acoustic shows made of covers from Anathema or others artists alone, or as Danny & Vincent Cavanagh and Anneke van Giersbergen & Danny Cavanagh.
