Biography
He graduated from the Tours Regional Conservatory, the Lyon National Superior Conservatory of Music, and the Paris National Superior Conservatory of Music in 1986, where he studied in the class of Christophe Coin. He was also a student of Anner Bijlsma and Jaap Schröder. He has played with Les Arts Florissants, La Petite Bande, Les Musiciens du Louvre, L'Arpeggiata and others. He has recorded with Le Concert des Nations and Hesperion by Jordi Savall. In 1996 he created his own baroque ensemble "Les Basses Réunies". He is known for the rediscovery of Jean Barrière and Evaristo Felice Dall'Abaco, but also of Francesco Geminiani.
