Bree Runway, born Brenda Wireko Mensah on November 18, 1992, in Hackney, London, is an English singer, rapper, and songwriter of Ghanaian descent. Raised in a multicultural environment, she blends pop, R&B, trap, and hyperpop into an eclectic musical style. She began her career with independent EPs like RNWY 01 (2015) and Bouji (2016). Signed to Virgin EMI Records in 2018, she released standout singles such as "Butterfly" and "What Do I Tell My Friends?" followed by the EP Be Runway (2019) and the mixtape 2000and4Eva (2020), featuring the hit "ATM" with Missy Elliott. Collaborating with artists like Rina Sawayama and Chlöe, she’s known for her bold energy and striking visuals.
