Biography
The band was originally called Instigator, and played grindcore under that name. Atrocity played death metal until Todessehnsucht. However, the on album Blut they started to experiment with non-metal genres. For example, Werk 80 is an album consisted of covers of pop songs from the 1980s. Subsequently, on Atlantis Atrocity went back to extreme metal.
The entire Atrocity line-up (plus Alex Krull's wife Liv Kristine Espenæs Krull) also functions as Leaves' Eyes.
