Steven Martin co-founded Martin Law Firm, P.L. with his wife, Eviana, and serves as a trial attorney for clients across Southwest Florida. His courtroom practice focuses on plaintiffs in personal injury matters, contested estates and trust disputes, and the planning that prevents those disputes from arising in the first place.
Before law, Steven built and sold an online retail business in the early days of e-commerce, served as Director of Business Development for a public-company predecessor of MySpace, and trained at Michael Ovitz's Artists Management Group in Beverly Hills. That commercial background sits alongside an Eagle Scout upbringing and roots in Tampa, where his father served as a Colonel at MacDill Air Force Base.
Steven holds a juris doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a business degree from UF's Warrington College of Business. He has served all executive offices of the Cape Coral Bar Association, including President. He currently chairs the 20th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission and serves as a Commissioner on Florida's Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims.
