Officer Michael Jennings was killed when his car slid into a tree and burst into flames while driving down a steep hill at 6:45 pm. His partner was injured in the accident. Officer Jennings served with the Winston-Salem Police Department for eight years.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife and daughter.
