Add The New York Post on Google The Issue: Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner’s Nazi-linked tattoo and alleged past of abuse

Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner is worse than Eric Swalwell, who Democrats booted when his indiscretions posed a threat to the party (“Silence is ‘dem’fening,” June 7).

Yet Democrats continue to support Platner despite the Nazi tattoo and abuse-of-women allegations.

They have no one else left in the bullpen to run against Sen. Susan Collins.

A Maine victory is paramount for the Democrats to seize control of the US Senate.

Democrats will overlook any transgression committed by Platner in order to win.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries does not want to talk about anything concerning Platner and his scandals (“Democratic parry,” June 8).

What are you afraid of, Rep. Jefferies? Is it because Platner is a Democrat?

If he were a Republican, would that make a difference?

Democrats’ support for communism and socialism shows a total disrespect for the sacrifices our military and their families made on their behalf.

Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer all ignore the fact that Platner is a disgrace.

They say what he did in the past doesn’t matter.

They say they want our country to go in a different direction.

News flash: We had four years of twisted leadership under Joe Biden and the Democrats.

Platner is an evil demagogue who attracts supporters that use his spotlight to spout their socialist and antisemitic tropes.

Yet his campaign steamrolls forward while “moderate” Democrats like Schumer remain silent.

Democrats in Maine don’t care who they send to the US Senate as long as he or she votes to convict President Trump after the House impeaches him.

We just continue to see things we would not have dreamed of in the past.

I find it quite humorous that Jeffries suddenly has no knowledge of Graham Platner’s past issues — yet he knows everything about Republican candidates and certainly knows everything about Trump.

This guy belongs in a circus with the rest of the clowns.

The Issue: President Trump receiving boos from Knicks fans at Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

I am in shock at the reaction to President Trump — a true New Yorker — attending the Knicks game (“Don hoops it up at game,” June 9).

Trump has always worked to make New York a better place.

The crowd at the event was disrespectful and wrong. Ironically, fans cheered for Mayor Mamdani, the communist who is ruining the greatest city in America.

I only wish I could have been there to cheer for Trump.

I’m ashamed of the way he was treated by his hometown.

He’s been a sports fan and supporter of all teams New York his entire life.

It’s with deep sadness that I watch New York City, where I was proud to grow up, go into a ditch it may never be able to climb out of.

So, when did people in this country start deciding who should and should not attend a sports game?

I may not agree with a person’s politics, but there is no way I could tell anybody not to attend a basketball game.
