Senga was scheduled to make a rehab start for Double-A Binghamton on Tuesday before being scratched with what the team termed ulnar nerve irritation in his upper right arm.
The right-hander has been rehabbing from lumbar spine inflammation and Carlos Mendoza noted his velocity had been down in his previous outing.

Without Senga, the Mets have only Tuesday’s starter, Freddy Peralta, Christian Scott and Nolan McLean as even passable starters and have had to rely on openers on a regular basis in what’s been a horrific season in Queens.
