Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence

Add The California Post on Google Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson, who just recently signed a $57 million contract extension, was arrested for domestic violence on Monday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Jackson was taken into custody after officers “responded to a radio call of a battery domestic investigation” near a residence in West Hills, an LAPD spokesperson told The California Post on Tuesday.

“During the investigation,” the LAPD rep said, “Alaric Jackson was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence.

“Due to victim confidentiality requirements related to domestic violence cases, no further information can be released at this time.”

Getty Images Jackson was officially booked on a felony domestic violence charge at 4:24 a.m. on Tuesday and was later released on $50,000 bond at 7:20 a.m., jail records show.

The case, according to the LAPD, will now “be submitted to the LA County District Attorney’s Office for filing considerations.”

NBC4 was first to report the news of Jackson’s arrest.

Jackson joined the Rams in 2021 as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa, and he played sparingly in Los Angeles’ run to Super Bowl LVI.

In 2022, he made his first-ever starts for the team, and in 2023, he became a full-time starter.

In February 2025, the team signed him to a three-year, $57 million contract extension that reportedly included $37 million in guarantees.

Jackson went on to start 16 games for the Rams in ’25, and he played in all three of the team’s playoff matchups as well.

A message seeking comment from the Rams on Jackson’s arrest was not immediately returned.
