Serena Williams returns to tennis in Queen’s Club match—How to watch for free

Add The New York Post on Google It’s been just under four years since Serena Williams played professional tennis for the last time, but one of the best to ever do it is back.

On June 1, the 23-time Grand Slam winner announced her return to pro tennis. Today, she’ll compete in the Queen’s Club Championships as a wildcard doubles entry with new parter Victoria Mboko.

“Grass has given me some of the most meaningful moments of my career, and I’m excited to be back competing on one of the sport’s most iconic stages,” Williams said in a statement announcing her appearance at Queen’s.

Williams and Mboko, a 19-year old rising Canadian star, will face off in the first round of Queen’s Club against No. 3 ranked Erin Routliffe of New Zealand and Nicole Melichar-Martinez of the United States.

In addition to Queen’s, Williams has already confirmed that she will compete in doubles at the upcoming Berlin Open, and has not ruled out a return to singles.

Serena Williams and Victoria Mboko make their Queen’s Club debuts today, June 9. Their match is scheduled to start at approximately 12:30 p.m. ET, but not before the previous match finishes.

If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream Serena Williams’ comeback match for free. One option we love is DIRECTV, which comes with five days free.

The Tennis Channel is included in DIRECTV’s Choice package, which is currently $35 off your first month after the free trial. Following the free trial and one month at $59.99, the Choice package costs $94.99/month.

You can also stream the Queen’s Club Championships for free with Fubo TV’s Sports + News package ($45.99 for your first month) which comes with five day free trials and includes Tennis Channel.
