Add The California Post on Google A California OnlyFans model and high-end escort had a breakdown on the stand Monday as a judge slapped her with a four-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter in the case of a client who died following sexual activity with her.
Michaela Rylaarsdam, 32, pleaded guilty early last month after Michael Dale, 55, died from asphyxiation when she placed duct tape over his mouth and a plastic bag and Saran Wrap over his head during a recorded encounter.
“It needs to be said, there are no words. There are no words. I’m sorry is not enough, and I have a million emotions, but I would say the desire to go back and undo this would be at the top. If I could change this…” the woman said in San Diego Superior Court.
While the death occurred in San Diego County, authorities said the woman, who had reportedly been working in the industry for approximately 10 years, was based in Menifee, Riverside County.
Because Dale’s limbs were bound during the encounter, he was unable to remove the items covering his mouth and head, resulting in asphyxiation.
He remained inside the bag for approximately eight minutes, leading him to be declared brain dead the following day.
The woman — whose husband was aware of her OnlyFans site and helped manage the business — said she immediately called 911 following the incident.
Rylaarsdam is married to Brandon Rylaarsdam and has three sons, according to her kink site, Secret Hostess, where she posted pictures of herself and boasted about her secret life under the name “Ashley SinCal,” adding, “the h is silent.”
Dale reportedly paid her $11,000 for this particular encounter.
She described herself as an “upscale and classy creation” with “10 years of experience.” On her Secret Hostess page, she claimed to be a “chameleon of this industry,” offering “intoxicating and provocative performance[s]” and “naughty games.”
Her website advertised several services, including the “Ultimate Incall,” her highest-priced offering at $1,500.
Other services included the “Toy Show” for $200 and the “Wild Incall” for $1,100, while a “Mild Incall” was listed at $800. Outcall services were offered at rates $300 lower than the corresponding in-call options.
Rylaarsdam also advertised FaceTime or Zoom play sessions for $150 and noted that a $25 nonrefundable deposit was required.
According to the listing, deposits could be paid through Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or by invoice, according to the Daily Mail, which shared a screenshot of the page that has since been removed.
Rylaarsdam reportedly specialized in “incorporat[ing] acrobatics into my lap dances,” boasting that “NO OTHER listed on this site is as professional as I am.”
Her attorney, Dan Cohen, previously stated that his client had no intention of killing Dale, arguing that although consent is not a legal defense, it is “certainly a mitigating factor.”
“I think there was no intent to kill and no attempt to cover this up,” he said. “And she acted appropriately when she realized this was a problem.
“There is definitely a consensual element — not only something he consented to, something he was actively seeking.”
