Juan Soto scratched from Mets lineup vs. Marlins with illness that has been ‘going around’ team

Add The New York Post on Google If the Mets weren’t going through enough, star Juan Soto had to be scratched from the lineup on Sunday.

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters before the Mets faced the Marlins in Miami that Soto is dealing with an illness that he said the team has all been battling for the past week and the star himself for the past three days.

He called it “kind of like a flu going around.”
