Texas neighbor dispute turns into shooting spree that locked down community: cops

During the chaos, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office issued an urgent warning: “law enforcement is currently responding to an active shooting in the Nottingham Street area… Multiple individuals have been shot.”

By 7:30 p.m., authorities issued a public notice confirming the suspect was in custody and the scene was secure.

Ultimately, two people sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The public is asked to avoid the New Cane area as the investigation remains ongoing.
