What Happened
Firefighter of the Fire Department of the City of New York, who died of an illness from the rescue and recovery at the World Trade Center. The department added the name to its World Trade Center Memorial Wall at the ceremony of 06 September 2023. He died on 22 December 2022, aged 80.
Biography
Tom was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated public servant. Tom proudly served as a firefighter with Ladder 25 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for 34 years. He spent his entire career with 25 Truck, his second home. Known for his courage, steady leadership, and unwavering commitment to protecting others, he earned the deep respect of his fellow firefighters. His humor, integrity, and quiet generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He is profoundly missed and forever remembered.
