What Happened
Firefighter of the Fire Department of the City of New York, who died of an illness from the rescue and recovery at the World Trade Center. The department added the name to its World Trade Center Memorial Wall at the ceremony of 08 September 2011. He died on 26 August 2003, aged 46.
Biography
Russell C. Brinkworth of Ronkonkoma, New York, died on August 26, 2003. He was a firefighter with the New York City Fire Department, Engine 286/
He was the beloved husband of Donna; devoted father of Jennifer, Emily, Edward, and Christopher; cherished son of Henry and Marjorie Brinkworth; fond brother of Henry, Deborah Beckwith, and the late Ronald Brinkworth.
