What Happened
Firefighter of the Fire Department of the City of New York, who died of an illness from the rescue and recovery at the World Trade Center. The department added the name to its World Trade Center Memorial Wall at the ceremony of 14 September 2022. He died on 28 May 2022, aged 67.
Biography
Robert Roy Reynolds worked at 96 Engine in the Bronx, New York, for 20 years. He loved adventure, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, sailing, and driving race cars. Most of all, he loved his son, Roy, with whom he shared all these hobbies. Travel, soccer, and photography were a big part of our family life. Rob was tough on the outside but very soft on the inside. He would help anyone with any task and teach them the way. After retiring, he missed the job and his comrades. We miss him so much!!
