Incident

Patrolman John Tucker was shot and killed shortly before 10:00 pm as he sat in his patrol car running radar. Two suspects were apprehended three days later. One of the suspects was a former patrolman with the Fort Gay Police Department. Patrolman Tucker had served with the Fort Gay Police Department for eight years.

Survivors

He was survived by his wife and three children.
