Incident

Lieutenant Jeffrey Williams was killed when he was struck by a drunk driver who was operating a tractor. The drunk driver was sentenced to ten years in prison, but was released in 2002. Lieutenant Williams had served with the Calumet County Sheriff's Department for 15 years.

He was survived by his wife and five children.
