Incident
Officer Lone fell in Lake Union and drowned as he attempted to secure a tugboat to the waterway dock. While attempting to secure the tugboat, Officer Lone lost his balance and fell into the water. When Officer Lone failed to surface, his partner entered the lake and tried to rescue him. Officer Lone was located pinned under six feet of water. He was transported to a local hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
