Biography
Sergeant Christopher Todd first began his career in Law Enforcement as a Bellevue Community College Public Safety Officer after receiving his degree in Criminal Justice from the same school. Chris finally got his dream job in 2001 when he was hired as a full-time Police Officer with Snoqualmie Police Department. His passion in life was being a Police Officer and all that came along with being in law enforcement. Chris was a very loving and caring husband to his wife Lisa, who was his best friend. Chris was an even better father who stayed very involved in his sons’ lives. Whether it was volunteering to be the class parent at preschool, chaperone for a field trip, or equipment manager at little league, he was always there. Family was his top priority and he tried to be as involved as he could while balancing his demanding career and schedule. He was a very caring and kind individual. His favorite hobbies included collecting and trading watches and knives, and working on his car. Chris was also passionate about teaching his boys how to be strong men, and eventually supportive husbands and fathers. He spent time with his oldest son, Jason, talking about anything military and teaching him about cars and computers. They would spend time taking them apart and then rebuilding them together. One of his proudest moments was watching Jason graduate from Army boot camp. He spent time with his middle son, Alex, talking about computers, travel, politics, history, and their love for football. When Chris met Alex’s girlfriend, Katie, and Katie’s daughter, Brooklyn, it was love at first sight. Brooklyn’s hugs would bring life back into his eyes when he was having a rough day.
