Incident
Officer Michael Aloisio succumbed to injuries sustained nine days earlier when he was involved in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Monticello Avenue and Freemason Street. He and another officer were attempting to stop a speeding car when his motorcycle collided with a taxicab. Officer Aloisio had served with the Norfolk Police Department for one year.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife, father, and four sisters.
