Biography
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, she worked as a Deputy Sheriff for 4 years before becoming a Probation Officer for the Department of Corrections. Wendy chose law enforcement so she could help people, she wanted to uplift them in their time of need. She chose to become a probation officer so she could help people move forward with their lives and build a future that would give them hope. Wendy was known as a kind and gentle person, she offered words of encouragement to many people and seemed to love everyone she met. She was a devoted mother and a loving wife, she loved fiercely and wasn’t afraid to express her love for others. A true lover of animals, Wendy loved horseback riding and found comfort in their presence. Her husband and five-year-old son are sharing her story in the hope that she and her impact on this world are never forgotten.
