Incident
Policeman Clifford Riddle was severely injured in a head on collision on a two lane highway while returning to Tullahoma after transporting a prisoner to Manchester. Policeman Henry Travis was killed instantly in the same collision. Policeman Riddle was in a coma for 17 years until he died. Officer Riddle had served with the agency for three years.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife, three children, and six grandchildren.
