Incident
Officer Jordan was stabbed to death when he and his partner responded to a domestic dispute call. While talking with the male suspect the man was able to pull out a knife and stabbed him. The suspect, 20, was convicted of Officer Jordan's murder and sentenced to 15 years. On June 14, 1980, he was found dead in his prison cell. Another inmate had stabbed him 20 times. Officer Jordan had been with the agency for four years.
