Incident
Patrolman William Gibson was killed in a motorcycle crash while patrolling on East River Street. A vehicle backed into the path of his motorcycle and caused a collision. Patrolman Gibson had served with the Anderson Police Department for four years.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife and two children.
