Incident
Agent Miguel Massas-Perez was shot and killed when he was ambushed at his home in the middle of a drug investigation. He had just arrived home in the Parcelas Las Calderonas neighborhood in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, when one of the passengers in the vehicle opened fire on him, killing him. It was believed that his identity as an undercover agent had been discovered, and he was murdered as a result.
