Lori Dean Thomas
Incident
Agent Lori Thomas was killed in a vehicle crash when her department vehicle was struck by a car that was being pursued by members of the Durant Police Department. The collision occurred at the intersection of Oklahoma 78 and Rodeo Road. The 27-year-old suspect was convicted of first-degree manslaughter and sentenced to four years in prison. Agent Thomas had served with the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission for 15 years.
Survivors
She is survived by her son who went on to serve with the United States Marshals Service.
