Incident
Sergeant Dale DeBerry died after suffering a heart attack while going through a routine physical training exercise at the department's shooting range. He was running through an obstacle course when he collapsed. CPR was administered and he was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Survivors
Sergeant DeBerry is survived by his wife and two children.
