Patrolman Kenneth Keller suffered a fatal heart attack during a stressful situation while on duty. Patrolman Keller was a United States Navy WWII veteran and had served with the New York City Police Department for 19 years, assigned to the 19th Precinct.

He was survived by his wife and two sons.
