Incident
Police Officer Samuel Kriney succumbed to injuries sustained three months earlier when his police motorcycle was struck by another vehicle as he attempted to stop a speeding car.
He was transported to a local hospital where he remained until succumbing to his injuries.
Officer Kriney had served with the Bound Brook Police Department for seven years.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife and six children.
