Incident
Lieutenant Jesse Pratt was killed in an automobile crash while on duty.
He was driving on N.C. 145, near Morven, when his cruiser collided head-on with another vehicle.
Lieutenant Pratt had served with the Anson County Sheriff's Department for six years.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife and two sons.
