The suspect exited his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by a responding officer and a civilian who witnessed the incident. The suspect was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Tributes

I served 1985 to 1993. You served too, before the badge - different uniform, same idea. You go where you are sent and you do not get to pick the call.
Police Officer Lee gave the Moss Point Police Department 14 years.
Thank you for your service to the Moss Point community. Thank you for your service before it. Gone but never to be forgotten.
Rest easy, brother.
