Incident
Trooper Paul Denham was killed in a single-vehicle crash while returning from working the scene of a fatal collision.
Trooper Denham was traveling north on Mississippi Route 603 in Bay St. Louis when his vehicle left the roadway and flipped several times. Some witnesses reported that another vehicle cut off his cruiser, causing him to lose control.
Trooper Denham had served with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety - Mississippi Highway Patrol for seven years and previously served with the Hancock County Sheriff's Department and the Bay St. Louis Police Department.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife and two children.
