Incident
Trooper Ray Krueger was killed in an automobile accident when another vehicle struck his patrol car head-on on Highway 210 near Brainerd at 0935 hours. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries two hours later.
Survivors
Trooper Krueger had been employed with the Minnesota State Patrol for 25 years and is survived by his wife and five children.
