Incident
Patrol Officer Michael Pollitz suffered a fatal pulmonary embolism while responding to a home to conduct a welfare check.
He was transported to a local hospital but passed away.
Officer Pollitz had served with the St. Louis Park Police Department for eight years.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife and two children, and his mother, sister, and step-father.
