Incident

Police Officer Richard Duvall was accidentally shot and killed by his partner as he struggled with a juvenile suspect following a vehicle pursuit of a stolen automobile. The pursuit ended in the 3800 block of Greenspring Avenue. Officer Duvall was struck by a round fired at the suspect by his partner. Officer Duvall had served with the Baltimore City Police Department for five years.

Survivors

He is survived by his wife and two children.
