Incident
Officer Joseph Kuhn was killed in a motorcycle crash on the Salisbury-Easton Highway while on patrol near Mardela Springs, Maryland.
The sidecar on his motorcycle struck the rear of a horsecart without taillights. He was thrown from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries.
Officer Kuhn had served with the Maryland State Police for just under two years.
