Incident

Officer Bacon succumbed to injuries sustained on February 26, 1932, while helping move a home through the intersection of Eutaw Street and Saratoga Street. The injury caused kidney damage which led to the onset of pneumonia. He died as a result of the injury on October 9, 1936. Officer Bacon had been with the Baltimore Police Department for almost 9 years and was assigned to the Traffic Division at the time of the accident.

Survivors

He was survived by his wife.
