Biography
Commander Edward M. Lyman was born on March 13, 1969. He began his law enforcement career in 1998 at Cicero Police Department where he served honorably for 21 years. He had a brilliant mind and was constantly taking classes to stay sharp. Most never knew that he actually held a dual Masters of Public Administration and Masters of Business Administration. He enjoyed spending his time watching Chicago Cubs baseball and training for marathons. In his lifetime, he completed the New York, Boston, Chicago, and Hawaii marathons though his greatest passion was his dogs. He loved spending time with them and would always go out of his way to save an animal. He was a devout fiancé to Erika Rosas for 16 years and a loving uncle to his niece and nephews, Izel Bella, Kai Teo, and Dimitri Alexander. Commander Lyman was a good man and is greatly missed.
