Incident
Park Policeman Julius Humphrey drowned in the boating lake at Washington Park.
He and a park employee were attempting to cross the pond when the row boat they were in capsized.
Policeman Humphrey had served with the South Park District Police Department for at least seven years.
Survivors
He was survived by his brother.
