Incident

Deputy Teasley was shot and killed while pursuing a suspect who had just murdered a Superior Court Judge, a court reporter, and critically injured another deputy. The suspect, who was wanted on rape and assault charges, had overpowered a deputy and stole his weapon. The suspect then killed Agent David Wilhelm at his home the next day. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
