Incident

Deputy Sheriff Steven Bruner suffered a fatal medical emergency after assisting people in evacuating from the Mossy Pond Fire.

The fire has ravaged over 500 acres, evacuating over 100 people, destroying 15 dwellings and 7 outbuildings, and leaving at least 43 displaced people.

Survivors

Survivors include two sons, father, mother, brother, grandfather, and girlfriend.
