Incident

Special Agent Nickolas Fragos and Special Agent Charles Mann died as a result of the collapse of the Miami Regional Office Building at the intersection of NE 12th Street and Second Avenue. Seven people were killed, and 12 people were seriously injured when the roof collapsed. Agent Fragos was a United States Army Vietnam War veteran with two Purple Hearts. He had served with the United States Department of Justice - Drug Enforcement Administration for five months, and it was his first day as an agent in the Miami office.

Survivors

He was survived by his wife and daughter.
