Duane R. Christian
Incident
Special Agent Duane Christian was killed in an aircraft accident in Dubrovnik, Croatia. He was accompanying the Secretary of Commerce on a trip to Bosnia and the surrounding region when the military aircraft they were flying in crashed while approaching the airport to land. Everybody onboard the plane was killed. Special Agent Christian had served with the Department of Commerce for 10 years.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife and three children.
