Incident
Officer Eddie Bond was killed in a motorcycle accident while on patrol. He was rounding a curve near a levee when he lost control and was thrown over an embankment. Officer Bond had served with the California Highway Patrol for four years.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife, a son, a daughter, father, two brothers, and two sisters.
