Incident
Officer Henry Evans was killed in an automobile crash when the ambulance he was riding in collided with a tanker truck at the intersection of Bath Street and West Carrillo Street. He had responded to a workplace accident with injured parties and was riding in the ambulance to calm the victim when the accident occurred.
Survivors
Officer Evans was survived by his wife, mother, father, and two siblings.
