Incident
Sergeant Jeff Richardson was killed in an automobile crash on U.S. Highway 167 just north of Medley Road while responding to assist a Sharp County Sheriff's Office deputy who was involved in a vehicle pursuit. Another car turned in front of him causing a collision. Sergeant Richardson and the driver of the other vehicle were both killed. Sergeant Richardson had served with the Cave City Police Department for 2-1/2 years.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and parents.
