Incident
Police Officer Geoffrey Stone was killed in a motorcycle crash when he collided with a deer on Valleydale Road. He was then struck by two oncoming vehicles.
Officer Stone was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Persian Gulf War and had served with the Vestavia Hills Police Department for 15 years.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife and five children.
