Incident
Police Officer Dylan Owen was killed in a single-vehicle crash on North Mobile Street near Laird Drive in Citronelle.
Around 3:30 p.m., while driving southbound on North Mobile Street, Officer Owen's patrol vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree. Despite immediate lifesaving measures, Officer Owen died at the scene.
Officer Owen had served with the Citronelle Police Department for two years. In 2025, he received the department's Rookie of the Year Award.
