Senior Officer Specialist Daniel Bryer died after falling from the back of a truck during a training exercise for the Special Operations Response Team at FCI Otisville in Otisville, New York. Officer Bryer was a Pennsylvania Army National Guard veteran.

He was survived by his wife, parents, brother, and sister.
